So we thought today we’d share with you some of our favourite autumnal buttonhole finds from the world of Pinterest, so we can admire the absolute beauties they are together!
We love the use of feathers and dill in these arrangements and combined with the lovely colour of the bright pink dahlia. We’d imagine on the day this brought a lovely pop of colour to the grooms suit!
The beautifully delicate navy velvet thread on this buttonhole perfectly compliments all the wonderful coloured flowers it holds together. We like the heavy use of foliage that frames the lovely flower and berries.
Using the same colour throughout, this burgundy arrangement works really effectively to give a lovely deep pop of colour. We love the daintiness of the stems used and we can imagine this would be perfect for a whimsical winter wedding.
The use of the thistle in this arrangements means it gets our seal of approval! We’d imagine this would look perfect at a rustic country wedding and would sit just perfectly on a tweed jacket!
We love the use of acorns as the central focus in this buttonhole and how well all the colours in the arrangement compliment the suit. We love the use of berries too!
The beautiful Astrantia combined with the ditsy smaller flowers makes for a really lovely combination. We love the way these are displayed too, with the garden string wrapped round the base of the buttonhole and pinned next to a pretty name tag.
Hopefully we’ve got you inspired with our round up of our favourite autumnal buttonholes! If you have any photos of buttonholes from your own wedding we’d love to see them – whatever the season! Send them over to us on Twitter at @jamieaston .
