Our Favourite Easter Florals
Posted in: Flowers
Easter is fast approaching and we can’t wait to fill our homes with lots of bright spring flowers ready for a lovely long weekend. Spring is a great time to embrace all the vibrant and beautiful colours the season brings and we love mixing and clashing different colours to make arrangements that pop. Why not be brave this forthcoming Easter and try creating an arrangement with colour combinations you might not have put together before – we have no doubt you’ll love the freshness that the vivid colours bring to your home.
Loved for their vibrancy and multiple blousy petals, Ranunuculae come in an array of beautiful colours including white, yellow, orange, red, pink and purple. As with many Spring flowers, they are very reasonably priced per stem so are a great way to achieve impact on a budget.
Typically known as grape hyacinths, these dainty flowers are known for their wonderful scent. If you fancy trying your hand at growing your own, these are known to be very easy to grow as they adapt to most habitats and are easy to look after.
These gorgeous flowers come in an array of multi-coloured and two-toned petals and caused a period from 1634 to 1637 known as ‘Tulip Mania’, when the tulip became the world’s most expensive flower and was treated as a form of currency. Nowadays, these lovely spring stems are thankfully a lot more reasonable priced but still loved by many.
These stunningly delicate flowers also come in an array of fabulous colours, we can’t get enough of the hot pink shade pictured above. They can also be found in shades of blue, orange, pink, purple, red, white and yellow and their dark centres always mean they stand out beautifully in any arrangement.
Hyacinths have a wonderful ability of filling any room with a beautiful, sweet and lingering scent and even small bunches can make a great impact. They are known for their lovely waxy florets all down the stem and can be found in an array of colours.
We hope this has inspired you to head out and create your own vibrant bouquet ready for the Easter Weekend! Please do send us photos to our Instagram @jamieaston as we would love to see your beautiful seasonal bunches!
