The first Thursday of 2016 has officially arrived and we can’t wait to see what all the upcoming weeks shall bring. Feeling optimistic as the new year begins, we thought it was definitely time to celebrate our Thursday Favourites for this week. So far it’s been a very busy week of saying goodbye to all the Christmas floristry decorations we’ve had scattered across various venues in London and saying hello to fresh and vibrant flowers for the new year. So here’s to all the things that have been keeping us happy during this hectic week!
1. Favourite Instagram Post
Our favourite Instagram post this week is this lovely photo of the blogger Sasha from Liberty London Girl’s cute sausage dog Lettice snuggled in her jumpers! We chatted to Sasha at our wreath making masterclass at the Royal Exchange and it took us a while before we realised Lettice had been cosied up in her bag all along!
2. Favourite Flower
Our favourite flower has to be the beautiful Lisianthus as we begin to fill our shop vases with them this week. The ideal addition to any arrangements, these are great flowers to add freshness to your bouquets. Keep your eyes peeled for a blog post tomorrow all about our favourite flower this week…
3. Favourite Song
Sorry, not sorry – we can’t deny that we are slightly loving how Justin Beiber’s new album is filling the charts and seems to be dominating the radio stations. I’m not sure we’ve quite hit belieber status yet but you never know, it’s still only 7 days into January so there’s still time! We’re currently enjoying Love Yourself.
4. Favourite Pin
We love the vibrance and whimsy of this photo and it’s getting us excited for warmer days in the albeit slightly far off future!
5. Favourite Quote
As the New Year sets in, it brings along with it an abundance of inspirational quotes filling our Social Media feeds as people prepare to stick to all their new resolutions! So we thought we’d get stuck in too and this is one of our favourites at the moment.
We hope you enjoyed our favourites this week and tag us on Instagram (jamieaston) so we can see some of your own! Have a lovely rest of the week!
