Our Favourite Floral DIYs
As the days are getting chillier and we’re spending more time snuggled inside, we’re getting into the spirit of DIY projects to adorn our house with! So we got our DIY hats on and scoured the wonderful world of Pinterest to find some of our favourite floral DIYs at the moment.
We love this Floral Ice Bucket DIY from ‘Sugar and Charm’, which makes for such a lovely unique alternative to the usual champagne bucket. The trick to this DIY is to buy two champagne buckets in different sizes and then using a combination of water, flowers and fruit you fill the gap between the two buckets and freeze them. Once this is all frozen, you carefully remove both the buckets and you are left with an amazing floral ice bucket!
Balloons have never looked so snazzy! We really like how ‘Apartment 34’ have jazzed up these plain, white balloons with foliage garlands. Using the idea as a basis, the possibility are endless with how you can prettify your balloons – why not try pompoms, bunting or baubles on your own?
3. No matter the season, nothing beats a good floral headdress! Picture the scene – everyone from sister through to Grandad sat around the christmas table tucking into their christmas turkey and cranberry sauce with beautiful christmas headdresses plonked on their heads! Perhaps a little ambitious, but it would definitely be worth a try! We love this DIY from ‘Walk in Love’ that we can use to form the structure of the headdress.
4. This DIY is a great idea for a wedding, for you to display everything from table arrangement to photos. The possibilities are pretty endless and we’d love to see how you choose to fill you floral hoop! We found this DIY over at ‘Style Me Pretty’, a website with an array of lots of beautiful things! Head over there and have a gander, we guarantee you’ll not regret it!
You can find more of our favourites over on our Floral DIY Pinterest Board and do let us know if you have any of your own!
