October Flower School: Two Week Roundup
Posted in: School
We’re almost halfway through our Professional Floristry course, time has seriously gone fast! Today on the blog we’re showing you some of the beautiful arrangements our students have made during the first 2 weeks of their course. Remember you can always book for March 2015’s Professional Floristry course via our online booking system.
Our first day covered two Hand Tied bouquets, one small dark hued bouquet with pops of bright pink and one large, wild autumnal bouquet.
With a bouquet larger than Sharnie’s head this one definitely deserved it’s own blog post which you can see here.
The Flowers for the Home class is mostly Oasis work which our students really enjoy making!
During our Entertaining at Home our students created this stunning low bowl centrepiece using lilac hued flowers, including this wonderful brassica. An all round favourite according to our lovely students!
We couldn’t help but style this arrangement a little in the shop… who doesn’t love rose petals and tea lights?
The afternoon of Flowers for the Home covered these pretty peach candle wreaths which incorporated more traditional hurricane lamps and tea lights within the wreath. Using Miss Piggy roses the colours really brought a brighter aspect to the candle wreath.
Another lovely piece of Oasis work in our second week of Professional Floristry, we put a step by step guide to make this wreath on our blog yesterday.
A piece of bridal work is covered in the second week in the form of these adorable hand bags, perfect for a little flower girl on your big day.
We can’t wait to see what else our students create. Keep your eyes peeled to the blog for Bridal Week next week, we still have places so you can book here.
