We absolute loved this gorgeous blue and white heart wreath we thought we’d give you a step by step guide to making one yourself!

Step 1: Prepare your heart shaped Oasis wreath by soaking in water and tying a long ribbon on the top part of the heart. Cut your stems shorter and separate your hydrangea head into smaller chunks. We used blue hydrangea, white Avalanche rose, white spray rose and anstrantea for this wreath.

Step 2: Begin with your roses, we like to pop them into the oasis in a regular pattern however you can also group them for a different effect. Then start adding your hydrangea heads being mindful of keeping the heart shape.

Step 3: Using the spray rose and anstrantea start trying to close up some gaps so you’re hiding most of the oasis. Group together stems on astrantea for a wilder, countryside effect.

Step 4: As a final flourish add in Spanish Moss by pinning the moss into any gaps left in the wreath, remember to twist the wreath so you can see all gaps on the insides and outsides of the arrangement. Once you’re happy hold it up and assess if there are any gaps or bulges, making sure the wreath has kept it’s heart shape. Once you’re happy hang your creation up and admire your handy work!

These colours are great for a wedding display in the reception area or can very often we used within funeral work. However, we also love this just as a display for the home.
